This trial is looking for children aged 1 to 6 who need surgery. It will compare two ways of measuring anesthesia depth to see if they affect the chances of getting delirium after waking up.
You may be able to join if
- I am aged 1 to 6 years
- I need surgery like hernioplasty or orchidopexy
- My parents or legal guardians agree to me being in the study
- I am healthy enough according to ASA I or II
You may not be able to join if
- My parents or legal guardians do not agree to me being in the study
- I have a neurological disease
- I have severe hearing or vision impairment
- I am unhealthy according to ASA III or above
