Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria:
* Adult patients (≥18 years old).
* Admission to the intensive care unit (ICU) with acute hypoxemic respiratory failure (AHRF).
* Treatment with high-flow nasal cannula (HFNC) as the initial respiratory support strategy.
