This trial is looking for adults with advanced HER2-positive breast cancer who have had limited prior treatments. Participants will receive either a combination of specific medications or standard chemotherapy to see which is more effective and safer.

You may be able to join if

  • I am at least 18 years old.
  • I have advanced HER2-positive breast cancer.
  • I have not had more than one prior treatment for my cancer.
  • I have at least one measurable cancer lesion.
  • I have a good performance status.
  • I have healthy organ function as shown by lab tests.
  • I am willing to participate and follow study guidelines.

You may not be able to join if

  • I have active brain metastases.
  • I cannot swallow or have an intestinal blockage.
  • I have uncontrolled fluid accumulation in my body.
  • I have received recent cancer treatments.
  • I am pregnant or breastfeeding.
  • I have a history of a different cancer in the last 5 years.
  • I have significant cardiac issues.
  • I have uncontrolled high blood pressure.
