Who this trial is looking for

This trial is looking for women with advanced breast cancer that is both hormone receptor-positive and HER2-positive. Participants will take a combination of entinostat, pyrotinib, and endocrine therapy to see how well it works after they have already received treatment with trastuzumab.

You may be able to join if

  • I am a woman aged 18 to 75.
  • I have been diagnosed with hormone receptor-positive and HER2-positive breast cancer.
  • I have locally advanced or metastatic breast cancer.
  • I have received trastuzumab and taxane-based treatment before.
  • I have received 1 to 2 previous lines of cancer treatment.
  • I have at least one measurable tumor.
  • I can walk and take care of myself reasonably well.
  • My overall health is good and I can expect to live at least 3 more months.

You may not be able to join if

  • I cannot swallow pills or have chronic diarrhea.
  • I have used any HDAC inhibitor for cancer treatment before.
  • I have taken any HER2-targeted tyrosine kinase inhibitor before.
  • I am allergic to any of the study drugs.
  • I have another cancer that is not cured.
  • I have participated in another clinical trial in the last 4 weeks.
  • I have uncontrolled heart problems.
  • I am pregnant or breastfeeding.
