Inclusion Criteria:
\- Presence of at least one suspected initial enamel carious lesion.
Exclusion Criteria:
* Cavitated carious lesions
* Previous restorative treatment on the examined tooth
* Antibiotic therapy during the previous month,
* Systemic diseases affecting salivary secretion
