This trial is looking for women aged 20-89 who have been treated for breast cancer. Participants will take part in resistance training to help improve body composition and muscle mass compared to cardio training.
You may be able to join if
- I am a woman aged 20-89.
- I have been diagnosed with ductal carcinoma in situ or invasive breast cancer.
- I have undergone treatment for breast cancer like surgery or radiation.
- I have more than 3 months of resistance training experience.
- I can read and understand English.
- I have been prescribed exercise as standard care.
You may not be able to join if
- I am currently undergoing cytotoxic chemotherapy.
- I cannot safely participate in group resistance training.
- I have severe arthritis or other serious joint or heart conditions.
- I take beta blockers or GLP-1 inhibitors.
- I am pregnant.
- I am male.
