Inclusion Criteria:
Patient Group
* Age ≥55 years.
* Diagnosis of Major Depressive Disorder or Bipolar Disorder, current major depressive episode, according to DSM-5 criteria.
* Clinical indication for electroconvulsive therapy (ECT).
