Inclusion Criteria:
* patients aged between 18 and 90 years;
* preoperative endoscopic biopsy-confirmed gastric adenocarcinoma;
* clinical stage early gastric (cT1NxM0) cancer according to the AJCC 8th edition TNM staging system;
