This trial is looking for adults with chronic kidney disease to see how well elecoglipron works compared to a placebo. Participants must be on certain medications for their condition before joining the study.
You may be able to join if
- I have been diagnosed with chronic kidney disease.
- I have an albumin-to-creatinine ratio of 30 mg/g or more.
- I have an estimated glomerular filtration rate of 20 mL/min/1.73 m² or more.
- I have been taking a stable dose of ACE inhibitor or ARB for at least 4 weeks.
You may not be able to join if
- My body mass index (BMI) is less than 23 kg/m².
- I have a history of type 1 diabetes.
- My HbA1c is 10% or higher.
- I am currently being treated for diabetic eye problems.
- I have had severe low blood sugar more than once in the last 6 months.
- I had a heart attack, stroke, or major cardiac procedure in the last 3 months.
- I have a significant condition affecting my upper gastrointestinal tract.
- I have a history of pancreatitis.
