About This Trial
The goal of this controlled single centre RCT is to compare frequency rates concerning return of spontaneous circulation (ROSC) in prehospital cardiac arrest. Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria:
* Age\> 18 years
* time of resuscitation \<21 minutes when enrollement starts
Exclusion Criteria:
* obvious pregnancy
* contraindications for the use of Lucas 3
* time of resuscitation \>21 minutes and etCO2 \<15 mmHg upon arrival of the emergency physician on scene
