Who this trial is looking for
This trial is looking for adults with uncontrolled high blood pressure. Participants will take a treatment called CTX340 and be closely monitored to see how it affects their blood pressure.
Are You a Good Fit for This Trial?
You may be able to join if
- I am between 18 and 75 years old.
- I have a body mass index of 40 or lower.
- My average blood pressure is between 130 and 160 mm Hg despite treatment.
- I am currently taking at least four blood pressure medications.
- I am postmenopausal if I have the ability to become pregnant.
- If I can produce sperm, I will use effective contraception.
- My partner, if they can become pregnant, will also use effective contraception.
You may not be able to join if
- I have signs of primary aldosteronism.
- My average diastolic blood pressure is 65 mm Hg or lower.
- I have high blood pressure caused by a treatable vascular issue.
- I have treatable causes of uncontrolled high blood pressure.
- I had renal artery denervation in the last year.
- I experience orthostatic hypotension.
- My complete blood count is outside normal ranges.
- I have liver disease.

Key Inclusion Criteria:
1. Age: ≥18 and ≤75 years.
2. Body mass index ≤40 kg/m2.
3. 24-hour mean ambulatory blood pressure monitoring (ABPM) systolic blood pressure (SBP) measurement of ≥130 mm Hg but ≤160 mm Hg despite treatment
