This trial is looking for adults with cancer who need special nutrition through an IV for at least a week. Participants will be compared using two different ways to provide this nutrition.
You may be able to join if
- I am at least 18 years old
- I have been diagnosed with cancer
- I need parenteral nutrition for at least a week
- I can give informed consent
- I speak English
You may not be able to join if
- I am enrolled in hospice care
- I am on mechanical ventilation
- I have a chest tube or drain
- I am receiving continuous renal replacement therapy
- I am using supplemental oxygen
