This trial is looking for adults with obesity or healthy weight to understand how a diabetes medication affects fat metabolism. Participants will help researchers learn more about insulin and fat breakdown in the body.
You may be able to join if
- I am between 18 and 55 years old.
- I am a premenopausal woman.
- I have a BMI between 18 and 25.
- I have a BMI between 30 and 38.

- I have severe heart failure.
- I am allergic to pioglitazone or its ingredients.
