This trial is looking for adults with prediabetes to test how a medication called mirabegron affects blood sugar control and body fat. Participants will need to meet certain health criteria to join the study.
You may be able to join if
- I have a BMI between 27 and 45
- I have prediabetes
- I have impaired fasting glucose or impaired glucose tolerance
You may not be able to join if
- I have diabetes
- I take anti-diabetic medication regularly
- I have a chronic inflammatory condition
- I have an unstable medical condition
- I have cancer
- I have kidney problems
- I cannot take Mirabegron
- I have a BMI over 45
