Who this trial is looking for

This trial is looking for individuals with major depression or anxiety disorders to understand how a specific drug affects decision-making. Participants will need to be unmedicated for a specified period and have access to a smartphone for assessments.

Are You a Good Fit for This Trial?

You may be able to join if

  • I have been diagnosed with major depressive disorder or an anxiety disorder.
  • I have a Hamilton Depression Rating Scale score above 16.
  • I am right-handed.
  • I have a smartphone.
  • I can provide written consent.
  • I have not taken psychotropic medications for at least 2 weeks.

You may not be able to join if

  • I have suicidal thoughts that are considered unsafe.
  • I am pregnant or not using effective contraception.
  • I have a serious medical illness such as heart or kidney disease.
  • I have a history of seizure disorder.
  • I have been diagnosed with severe psychiatric disorders like schizophrenia or bipolar disorder.
  • I have used cocaine or stimulants recently.
  • I take any other psychotropic drugs now.
  • I have a history of electroconvulsive therapy.
