This trial is looking for children aged 2 to 17 who are having surgery. Participants will undergo COVID-19 testing before their surgery.
You may be able to join if
- I am aged 2 to 17 years
- I am having surgery
- I have not been diagnosed with COVID-19 in the past 6 months
- I have no history of nasal bleeding
- I have no history of coagulopathy
You may not be able to join if
- I refuse to have the COVID-19 test
- I have difficulty in providing consent
- I have been diagnosed with COVID-19 in the past 6 months
- I have a history of nasal bleeding
- I have a history of coagulopathy

Check Your EligibilityChildren infected with COVID-19 are mostly asymptomatic. There is a dearth of data on the epidemiology of COVID-19 in the pediatric population. This is a prospective observational clinical study of pediatric surgical patients. COVID-19 rapid antigen testing will be performed on pediatric patients.
