This trial is looking for people who have treatment-resistant depression and will be receiving electroconvulsive therapy (ECT). Participants will help researchers understand how ECT affects sleep and brain function.
You may be able to join if
- I have treatment-resistant depression.
- I am referred for my first course of electroconvulsive therapy.
- I have tried at least two antidepressant medications without success.
You may not be able to join if
- I have schizophrenia or a schizoaffective disorder.
- I cannot tolerate the Dreem device for sleep recordings.
