Who this trial is looking for
This trial is looking for adults aged 18 to 80 who have had a stroke within the last 8 hours. Participants will receive a treatment to remove a blood clot in the brain and will be monitored for 90 days.

You may be able to join if
- I am between 18 and 80 years old
- I have been diagnosed with acute ischemic stroke
- I can receive treatment within 8 hours of my symptoms starting
- I can be treated within 120 minutes from my CT/MR scan
- Before my stroke, I had a Modified Rankin Scale score of 0-1
- I have a confirmed large vessel occlusion in my brain
- I am a candidate for the Direct Aspiration First-Pass Technique
You may not be able to join if
- I have had a recent intracranial hemorrhage
- I have an Alberta Stroke Program Early CT Score less than 6
- I have intracranial atherosclerotic disease
- I have multiple or tandem occlusions
- My life expectancy is less than 6 months

About This Trial
The goal of this clinical trials is to demonstrate the safety and effectiveness for the RapidPulseTM Aspiration System in patients experiencing acute ischemic stroke within 8 hours of symptom onset or last seen normal. Inclusion Criteria:
* Age 18 to 85 years
* Clinical diagnosis of acute ischemic stroke with NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) score ≥ 6
* Able to be treated within 8 hours of symptom onset or last known normal (LKN)
