Who this trial is looking for

This trial is looking for people who have had a stroke affecting the left side of their brain and are experiencing difficulties with language. Participants will receive a type of brain stimulation to see if it helps them recover their language skills.

Are You a Good Fit for This Trial?

You may be able to join if

  • I have been diagnosed with a stroke affecting the left side of my brain.
  • I can speak and understand English well.
  • I am at least 18 years old.
  • I gave consent for this study at least 1 month after my stroke.

You may not be able to join if

  • I have severe cognitive, hearing, or vision issues that would prevent me from testing.
  • I have unstable or untreated mental health problems.
  • I have a chronic medical condition that is not managed.
  • I have a heart device like a pacemaker.
  • I cannot undergo MRI or tACS due to certain medical reasons.
  • I have a history of seizures that are ongoing or not managed.
  • I have dyslexia or other learning disabilities.
