Who this trial is looking for
This trial is looking for adults with a language impairment after a stroke, as well as healthy English speakers. Participants will help researchers understand how aphasia affects communication and may lead to new treatments.

- I am at least 18 years old
- I have language problems after a stroke
- I am a young adult (ages 18-30) or older adult (over 60)
- I am a native English speaker
You may not be able to join if
- I have had neurological or psychiatric issues before my aphasia
- I do not speak English fluently

Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria:
* At least 18 years of age
* Persons with acquired aphasia are defined as those with a language impairment following left hemisphere brain injury (most likely a stroke).
* Neurotypical adults need to be either young (ages 18-30 years) or older (\> 60 years)
