This trial is looking for people who have had a stroke at least six months ago and are having trouble participating in social activities. Participants will receive a home-based rehabilitation program to help improve their social engagement and will be asked to complete some tests before and after the program.
You may be able to join if
- I have been diagnosed with chronic stroke at least 6 months ago.
- I am at least 18 years old.
- I live in a residential setting in the community.
- I have difficulties with social participation.
You may not be able to join if
- I have a progressive neurological disorder such as dementia or Parkinson's disease.
- I cannot provide written consent.
- I have severe speaking difficulties.
- I am currently in stroke rehabilitation or mental health therapy.
- I have major depression and am not under treatment.
- I have bipolar disorder or a psychotic disorder.
- I have a substance use disorder within the last 3 months.
