Who this trial is looking for
This trial is looking for adults aged 40 and older who are either underweight or overweight and have obesity. Participants will be evaluated for their fat tissue health and possible weight loss effects on blood vessel function.

- I am 40 years old or older
- I have a BMI between 25 and 40
- I am willing to participate in weight loss activities
You may not be able to join if
- I am a current smoker
- I have had a heart attack, stroke, or cancer
- I have stage III hypertension
- I regularly do vigorous exercise
- I am pregnant or breastfeeding
- I have severe allergic reactions to certain medications
- I take blood thinners or clotting medications
- I am taking statin medication

* Age ≥40 years
* BMI \<25 kg/m2 and BMI \>25 kg/m2 for Phase 1 and BMI \>25 kg/m2 for Phase 2. Rationale for defining obesity as BMI \>25 kg/m2
