This trial is looking for adults with a specific genetic risk for kidney disease and ongoing protein in their urine. Participants will take the drug MZE829 to see how it affects their kidney condition.
You may be able to join if
- I have the APOL1 G1/G1, G2/G2, or G1/G2 genotype.
- I have chronic kidney disease with persistent albuminuria.
You may not be able to join if
- I have had an organ or bone marrow transplant.
- I have a history of active cancer in the past 2 years, except for treated non-melanoma skin cancer.
- I have had bariatric surgery.
- I have type 1 diabetes.
- I am pregnant or currently nursing.
