This trial is looking for mothers who have experienced depression after their baby's birth and their healthy infants. Participants will help researchers understand how these mothers' emotions affect their babies' attention to faces showing various feelings.
You may be able to join if
- I am a mother who has had depression since my baby's birth.
- I have a healthy full-term single baby who was born weighing more than 5.5 pounds.
- I have no history of depression or current mental health issues.
- I am matched with others based on age, race/ethnicity, and income.
You may not be able to join if
- I have been diagnosed with alcohol or substance use disorders.
- I have had bipolar disorder or psychotic disorders at any time.
