Who this trial is looking for
This trial is looking for people who have mild aphasia due to a stroke that happened more than 6 months ago. Participants will receive Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation and speech therapy over 10 sessions and will have follow-up assessments after treatment.

You may be able to join if
- I have had a stroke in the left side of my brain.
- My stroke happened more than 6 months ago.
- I have mild aphasia.
- I can speak and understand English.
You may not be able to join if
- I am currently abusing substances or alcohol.
- I have other neurological disorders.
- I have active psychiatric disorders.
- I have a pacemaker or cardiac defibrillator.
- I have tinnitus.
- I have epilepsy or a seizure in the past 6 months.

About This Trial
The goal of this clinical trial is to determine if Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) combined with Speech-Language Therapy (SLT) is an effective treatment for mild aphasia in persons with chronic stroke.

Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria:
* Left Hemisphere stroke
* Stroke occurred more than 6 months ago
* Mild Aphasia (WAB AQ score \> 85)
* Proficient in English

* Ongoing substance or alcohol abuse
