Who this trial is looking for
This trial is looking for children aged 7-12 years who have no food allergies. Participants will help researchers understand why some kids become obese by sharing information about their eating habits, genetics, and brain development.

You may be able to join if
- I will be 7-12 years old during the study.
- I do not have any food allergies.
You may not be able to join if
- I was exposed to alcohol, cigarettes, or illegal drugs before birth.
- I had any issues found in early pregnancy ultrasounds.
- I had a complicated pregnancy.
- I had a difficult delivery or had to stay in the NICU as a newborn.
- I have a history of neurological disorders.
- I have a history of psychiatric disorders requiring medication.
- I have had developmental disorders.
- I cannot have an MRI due to metal in my body or claustrophobia.

About This Trial
The investigators project, RESONATE, aims to investigate why some children develop obesity. To do this it uses data on eating and eating-related behaviors, genetic and environmental factors, and brain structure and function. This data is collected in a sub-sample of RESONANCE, a large study of families of children from infancy through childhood. The results will lay foundations for the development…

Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria:
* Participants from the RESONANCE cohort are eligible if the participant will reach 7-12 years of age during the proposed project period and have no food allergies.
