Who this trial is looking for
This trial is looking for young people aged 15 to 25 who have depression and suicidal thoughts. Participants will receive a quick brain stimulation treatment over 5 days and undergo brain scans to see if it helps them feel better.

- I speak English
- I can give informed consent
- I am 15 to 25 years old
- I was recently discharged from the emergency department for suicidal thoughts
- I have been diagnosed with major depressive disorder
You may not be able to join if
- I cannot provide consent due to a medical condition or mental illness
- I am taking medications that interfere with TMS treatment
- I currently use drugs or alcohol actively
- I have untreated, active psychosis
- I am breastfeeding, pregnant, or planning a pregnancy
- I have participated in another clinical study in the past 30 days
- I have conditions that prevent me from receiving TMS or MRI

About This Trial
The goal of this clinical trial is to learn if a fast-acting brain stimulation treatment called transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) can help people with depression and suicidal thoughts. The treatment is non-invasive (does not involve surgery or medications), is given over 5 days, and uses brain imaging (MRI) to guide which part of the brain to target. * English speaking
* Able to provide informed consent
* age 15-25 years
* Discharged within the past week from the ED for chief complaint of SI OR recently admitted in urgent health care setting or seen in outpatient clinic for depression-related suicidal ideation
