This trial is looking for adults with obesity to test a new treatment called MBX 4291. Participants will receive the treatment through injections to help us understand how safe it is and how it works in the body.
You may be able to join if
- I am between 19 and 65 years old.
- I have a BMI between 30 and 50.
- I have not had a significant change in weight of more than 5% in the last 3 months.
You may not be able to join if
- I have a serious illness that might prevent me from joining the study.
- I currently have pancreatitis.
- I have type 1 or type 2 diabetes.
- I have underlying causes of obesity like endocrine disorders.
- I have a personal or family history of medullary thyroid carcinoma.
