This trial is looking for people with left-sided heart valve problems who are scheduled for surgery on their aortic or mitral valve. Participants will help researchers understand how lung blood flow affects their heart conditions.
You may be able to join if
- I am at least 18 years old.
- I am scheduled for a valve procedure.
You may not be able to join if
- I have congenital heart disease (except for a bicuspid aortic valve).
- I have carcinoid heart disease.
- I have a valvular mass.
- I have endocarditis.
- I have another condition that would prevent me from completing the study.
