Who this trial is looking for

This trial is looking for adults over 50 with Alzheimer's disease or mild cognitive impairment. Participants will take the drug leronlimab once a week for 12 weeks and undergo some tests like brain scans and blood work.

Are You a Good Fit for This Trial?

You may be able to join if

  • I am 50 years old or older
  • I have been diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease or mild cognitive impairment
  • I can understand and agree to follow the study procedures
  • I have a study partner to help support me
  • I have stable doses of any needed medications for at least 12 weeks
  • I have a normal resting ECG or one that is not concerning
  • I can complete cognitive testing

You may not be able to join if

  • I am pregnant or breastfeeding
  • I have HIV
  • I have a history of Hepatitis B or C
  • I have significant brain diseases other than Alzheimer's
  • I have current substance abuse issues
  • I am significantly depressed
  • I can't have MRI or PET scans due to my medical condition
  • I have other serious health conditions that are not stable

About This Trial
The present study will administer the drug leronlimab to 20 participants who are above 50 years old with Alzheimer's disease (AD) or mild cognitive impairment (MCI) due to AD.
