Who this trial is looking for
This trial is looking for patients with heart disease who experience episodes of rapid heartbeats called ventricular tachycardia. Participants will have special mapping done to find and block specific channels in the heart that cause these episodes.
Are You a Good Fit for This Trial?
You may be able to join if
I have structural heart disease
I am undergoing VT ablation
You may not be able to join if
I am unable or unwilling to sign consent
I am in cardiogenic shock or have severe heart failure without support options
I do not have a detectable substrate during initial mapping

The goal of this study is to map conducting channels within scar that cause ventricular tachycardia (VT) in patients with scar in their hearts in order to block these channels from causing VT with targeted radiofrequency ablation (cautery).

The goal of this study is to map conducting channels within scar that cause ventricular tachycardia (VT) in patients with scar in their hearts in order to block these channels from causing VT with targeted radiofrequency ablation (cautery).
Participants undergoing VT ablation mapping of these channels by pacing many sites within the scar area and determining where these channels exit the scar into normal tissue. These exits will be ablated. Immediate success and success at 1 year will be evaluated.
