Who this trial is looking for
This trial is looking for women who have recently experienced sexual assault and may be struggling with PTSD and cannabis use. Participants will use a digital therapy to help address these issues.
Are You a Good Fit for This Trial?
You may be able to join if
- I am a woman who is a sexual assault survivor.
- I am 18 years or older.
- I speak English.
- I can provide informed consent.
- I have used cannabis more than once a week.
- I have a smartphone with service for over a year.
- I have elevated anxiety sensitivity.
You may not be able to join if
- I cannot provide informed consent due to serious injury or cognitive issues.
- I am currently pregnant.
- I live with my assailant and plan to continue living with them.
- I am currently an admitted patient in a hospital.
- I do not have a mailing address.
- I have already been enrolled in this trial.
- I have not had a sexual assault nurse examiner examination.
- I have a current plan or intent to commit suicide or homicide.

About This Trial
683,000 women are sexually assaulted annually in the United States, half of whom develop chronic posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and thus have markedly increased risk for cannabis use disorder (CUD). Inclusion Criteria:
1. Women sexual assault survivors presenting for emergency care \<72 hours post-assault at 1 of our 4 emergency care sites
2. English speakers
3. 18+ years of age
4. Able to provide informed consent
5. Have a smartphone with continuous service \>1 year
