This trial is looking for families with children aged 4 to 12 who have persistent asthma. Participants will receive extra help and education about managing asthma.

- I have a child aged 4-12 years.
- My child has persistent asthma.
- I am at least 18 years old.
You may not be able to join if
- My child is under 4 or over 12 years of age.
- My child does not have persistent asthma.

- I prefer to speak English at home.
- My child requires continuous respiratory support.
- My child has a complex medical or genetic condition affecting breathing.

About This Trial
The Nav-Team study reviews how well the asthma navigators/coordinator program can improve the lives of asthmatic children, and their caregivers, by providing additional assistance and education. Aim 1 of the study will partner with immigrant serving community organizations to hold meetings that will help tailor the programs. * Child with persistent asthma (defined by currently prescribed controller medication).
* Parent/legal guardian who is at least 18 years old.
