Who this trial is looking for
This trial is looking for pregnant women who are in labor or scheduled to start labor. Participants will listen to music or no music for 10 minutes and share their feelings about anxiety, pain, and overall satisfaction with their care.
Are You a Good Fit for This Trial?
You may be able to join if
- I am 18 years or older
- I am in labor or have a scheduled induction of labor
- I can provide informed consent
- I have a physical health status of II-III
You may not be able to join if
- I do not want to participate
- I have impaired hearing
- I take at least one anxiolytic medication daily
- I have had a fetal loss during pregnancy
- I have a severe psychiatric disorder

Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria:
* Age: 18 years or older
* Laboring parturients or those scheduled for an induction of labor
* Able to provide informed consent
* American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) physical status rating of II-III
Exclusion Criteria:
* Patient refusal
